5 Stars – Stylish, Comfortable Stay in South Bend! We stayed at the Aloft Hotel in South Bend for a few nights and had a really enjoyable experience! From the moment we walked in, the hotel had a fun, modern vibe that felt both welcoming and trendy. The decor is sleek and colorful, and the common areas—especially the lobby and lounge—were perfect for relaxing or grabbing a drink. Each morning we had breakfast at the hotel, and it was actually pretty good! 🥐☕ The coffee bar was fresh and convenient, which made mornings super easy before heading out for the day. I really appreciated how clean everything was, from the lobby to our room. The housekeeping staff did a great job keeping things tidy throughout our stay. The room itself was comfortable, quiet, and well-designed. Plenty of outlets, a cozy bed, and a great shower—what more can you ask for? Most of the staff were super friendly and helpful—big shoutout to the team at the bar and housekeeping! 🙌 There was one front desk employee who wasn’t the most welcoming, but everyone else really went above and beyond to provide great service. The gym was decent and clean, but a bit limited on equipment. If you’re into heavier workouts, you might find it lacking a few essentials. 🏋️‍♂️ Still, it was enough to get a quick session in. One personal downside: the hotel is pet-friendly, and there were a few dogs around. 🐶 While I understand that’s a plus for many travelers, I’m personally not a dog person, so that wasn’t my favorite part. That said, the overall experience definitely outweighed the few minor cons. Great atmosphere, solid breakfast, helpful staff, and a central location made this a fantastic stay. We’d absolutely come back again when visiting South Bend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very nice hotel. I stayed in early September for a week on a business trip. However, on the last day at checkout I forget a small bag of items and left them in the room. Upon getting back home that evening I discovered this error. I called the front desk and was transferred to housekeepings lost & found voice mail. After a few days and 2 left voice messages there were no return calls. A week later I was back at Aloft for a night and spoke with Juliette at check in. She listened to my concern and took it another step. She explained she would email Alejandra with housekeeping as email has a better response rate than leaving voice messages. After a week of communication Aloft located my items and covered the cost of shipping back to me!! Thank you to the excellent customer service from Juliette and to Alejanda!! Jon C

We rented their ballroom to celebrate my friend’s daughter’s Sweet 16. Everything was perfect - from the planning to the day of. We also stayed the night in two of their suites. My only beef was that their indoor pool was not heated. And it …

Aloft South Bend is a beautiful place. The staffs are kind, and they provide excellent service. The entire building is kept cleaned and the kitchen staffs are efficient. The housekeepers are outstanding. It was a whole week stay at Aloft South Bend and I can say that the cleaning staffs / housekeepers delivered. The only downside is the cold pool.
